Thinking of You Elephant

Hello there!
Today I have a card that I’ve been waiting to share…it’s one of my current favorites. (Note the word current- my “favorites” are always changing!) This card was sadly a reject for a publication call.
For the background, I used the DeNami Polka Dot Elephant. When I first saw this image, I was baffled as to how I would use it. Now, I’m obsessed with him! :)

You all know I’m totally addicted to the DeNami Brown Kraft cardstock. I haven’t ever tried any other brand- why mess with a good thing?! One of my favorite things about kraft: it coordinates with just about everything!
Here you can see that I paper pieced the G152 Elephant. I thought it’d be fun to have the sentiment look like it was coming out from his trunk, so I grabbed one of my acrylic stamps and made it wavy. (The thinking of you is from Kind Deeds by Clear & Simple stamps)
Did you all see that the new DeNami Theme Challenge #6 started today? This time around the theme is BOY. The design team ROCKED it- be sure to head over to the DeNami blog to see the samples and to get the details!
Have a great rest of your Monday! I’ll talk with you all soon!

  1. This is totally awesome! You know I have a weak spot for this stamp. I have the polka-dot mini on my VERY LONG wish list! My Colour Q wasn’t the winner, but it was acknowledged! :-) Thanks for your nice comments!

  2. So cute Paulina! I do love that it looks like the sentiment is coming out of his trunk!!! Such a sweet card!!!

  3. Those polka dotty elephants are so stinkin’ cute!!! And I LOVE the splashes of aqua and green against the neutral background too!
