Thinking of You Elephant
Hello there!
Today I have a card that I’ve been waiting to share…it’s one of my current favorites. (Note the word current- my “favorites” are always changing!) This card was sadly a reject for a publication call.
For the background, I used the DeNami Polka Dot Elephant. When I first saw this image, I was baffled as to how I would use it. Now, I’m obsessed with him! :)
You all know I’m totally addicted to the DeNami Brown Kraft cardstock. I haven’t ever tried any other brand- why mess with a good thing?! One of my favorite things about kraft: it coordinates with just about everything!
Here you can see that I paper pieced the G152 Elephant. I thought it’d be fun to have the sentiment look like it was coming out from his trunk, so I grabbed one of my acrylic stamps and made it wavy. (The thinking of you is from Kind Deeds by Clear & Simple stamps)
Did you all see that the new DeNami Theme Challenge #6 started today? This time around the theme is BOY. The design team ROCKED it- be sure to head over to the DeNami blog to see the samples and to get the details!
Have a great rest of your Monday! I’ll talk with you all soon!
Loving that cute polka dotted elephant and the card you created with it! FABULOUS!
Love your PP! Super CUTE card!
This is totally awesome! You know I have a weak spot for this stamp. I have the polka-dot mini on my VERY LONG wish list! My Colour Q wasn’t the winner, but it was acknowledged! :-) Thanks for your nice comments!
So cute Paulina! I do love that it looks like the sentiment is coming out of his trunk!!! Such a sweet card!!!
Those polka dotty elephants are so stinkin’ cute!!! And I LOVE the splashes of aqua and green against the neutral background too!
