DeNami Pastels Blog Hop

Good morning!
It’s time for the DeNami May Blog Hop! I was sad I wasn’t able to participate in the last one, so I made sure I found a bit of time to play along in this one. After all, pastels are so fun to play with!

With the theme being pastels, I immediately thought of flowers. It’s Spring and I’m obsessed with the Spring Flowers I set- it was meant to be. :) A while back I purchased the Martha Stewart picket fence border punch and knew that I had to use it on this card. Isn’t it a fun one?
I needed a subtle background, so I brought out my Modern Borders set and used the argyle image. Definitely can’t live without this set- it has argyle AND chevron in one set?!

  5. Oh this is beautiful. So, so pretty with the spring flowers and the green and purple color scheme.
    I’ve seen you do it before, but how do you get the “stem” part in between those two long leaves? My leaves don’t have that! Do you have a special stamp or something?! *grin*

  7. Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous. The picket fence is genius, and popping it and the flowers just brings the whole thing to life! Love the twine and the rhinestones as well. What’s not to love about this. It is so fun to look at! The flowers are on my wishlist!

  21. So many layers…gorgeous. Flower heads that are “popped” along the fence (been debating about that punch…one step closer to buying!) Lavender and green are such a lovely background for the white. Love the crystals, glitter and twine, soft and sparkly!

  23. Wow, so many pretty parts to this card! I love the fence and popped up flowers. The tone on tone argyle is awesome and the twine and bling are perfect accents.
