Valentine Double Hearts
Happy Day to you all, it’s Jill! Here in the Midwest, it always feels like crafting season when it’s wintertime, so I tend to get Valentine’s Day cards made and sent out.Today, I am happy to share this sweet Valentine I created with the new Layered Valentine Cake Pops Stencils–and a few more PPP goodies!
I decided I had to use the Strawberry Valentine Mix and therefore, this mix drove my card’s color scheme. Look at those little strawberries in the shaker! So stinking sweet!
I created the panel first using the aforementioned Layered Valentine Cake Pops Stencils. For this I used a few shades of red and pink inks, capping them all off with the “chocolate” sprinkles and hearts. This stencil is super easy to use with the three different layers and even easier if you have a handful of smaller blender brushes to keep from spreading ink to the wrong places.
I created the shaker windows with the new Double Heart Shaker. This die is quite delightful, in that it creates these two different windows (while staying connected) to fill with all the different shaker bit options.
The sentiment I chose to use is from the Valentine’s Greetings set (pssst… don’t forget the coordinating Valentine Greetings Dies). This is going to be a great Valentine to pop in the mail next month–and being I have it made already, it could arrive on time!! (I send many belated cards–shhhhhhh 🙂)
I added some stitching details to finish this lovely off and it’s ready to go. I don’t know about you, but I would like a chocolate covered strawberry now!
Thanks for joining me for a bit of PPP sweetness here today–Happy Creating!!
