Mini Slimline Cards + Video

Hi friends and welcome back! It’s Mindy with you today to share inspiration using the Layered Roads stencils and Across The Miles stamp set.

I love how these layered roads come together. The layering of the stencil makes it super quick and easy to create a background.

I’m using Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn distress oxide inks for my hills, Pumice Stone and a hint of Hickory Smoke distress oxide for the pavement and a bit of white paste for the lines of the roads.

Don’t let coloring the images intimidate you! Do a little emboss resist to quickly add color to the images from the Across the Miles stamp set.

I have a secret to share …… these two mini slimline cards were a happy accident. I meant to create one card but I trimmed the background down incorrectly. Since I put a lot of effort into the background, I was not going to let it go to waste.

I did sneak in one additional sentiment that came from the Birthday Scripts stamp set.

I think these sets are super versatile because not only are they great for little kids, but I think adults too!
