Christmas Theme Week- Day 7

Hello friends! It’s Leica here today with a circle Christmas card. For this card, I used a previously released stamp set called Winter Wreath Stamp Set and the new Winter Candle die.

To begin, I cut a 4.5″ circle in white cardstock and ink blended it with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink. I then cut a 4″ circle in white cardstock and stamped the wreath in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with Copic Sketch markers – B39/37/34, G46/43/40, RV25/23/21, Y26/23/21. I adhered the smaller panel onto the larger circle.

Next, I cut the Winter Candle twice – one in white cardstock and another in silver glitter cardstock. To easily piece the candle together, I turned it over and taped the edge of the border to the cut pieces. I then colored the candle with Copic Sketch markers – E42/41/40, G46/43/40, RV25/23, T5/3/1, Y18/13. Next, I adhered the silver glitter candle die on top to cover any coloring imperfections and for added interest. I foam mounted the candle onto the card panel for dimension.

Lastly, I adhered the panel onto a card base, which is a 4.5″ circle in white cardstock that I scored at the 3/8″ mark and glued onto the card panel.
