Pink Winter Wonderland

Hi everyone! Jane here and I’m so happy to be sharing this holiday card using the new Village and Village Additions stamp sest by Pretty Pink Posh.

Pretty Pink Posh: Pink Winter Wonderland

To start, the background was ink blended using the following distress oxide inks: seedless preserves, victorian velvet and spun sugar. Be sure to leave a blank space at the bottom of the card to give the illusion of fallen snow.

The background was splatted using white acrylic paint and water to create a snowy background.

Next, I stamped the images from Village and Village Additions stamp sets using copic-friendly black ink and colored them using copic markers.  The building images were fussy cut using scissors and the rest of the images were die cut using the coordinating dies.  White gel pen used to add accents to the images.

I glued the building images to the ink blended background and used foam squares to pop up the tiny Village Additions images to the card front. Then, I used white Nuvo drops and glitter to mimic fallen snow to the rooftops. The sentiment from the Holiday Scripts stamp and coordinating die set  as used for the “Merry” and I stamped the “Christmas” using Versafine black ink with the help of my Misti.  After everything was dry, the entire card front was adhered to a light grey A2 card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Be sure to check out the October release online at Pretty Pink Posh!
