Summertime Grid Background

Hi Friends! Jane here today! I’m so excited to be sharing a card featuring new summer products from Pretty Pink Posh!     

For this card, I used the new grid stencil to create a colorful background for my center image and greeting.  After laying the stencil down on a white piece of card stock, I ink blended a background using the following distress ink colors: seedless preserves, wilted violet, tumbled glass, kitsch flamingo, squeezed lemonade, dried marigold and abandoned coral.  

Next, I stamped the images from the new Summer Fun and Summer Wreath sets using versafine black ink and colored them using zig clean color brush pens. White gel pen used for accents on the images.  The images were then cut using the coordinating die sets and adhered to the card front using foam tape.

The sentiment from the Summer Wreath stamp set was white heat embossed on black cardstock and cut using a paper trimmer.  I adhered the sentiment  to the card front using liquid glue.

Next, I trimmed down the card front using a paper trimmer and mounted it to an A2 white card base and that completes the card!
