Christmas Theme Week- Day 1

Hello! Leica here and I’m kicking off the start of Christmas Theme Week. Today I am sharing a Christmas box card using an older stamp set that I love so much, Angel Friends.

To start, I created the Lawn Fawn pop-up box as directed, in white 110lb cardstock.  Next, I die cut panels for the box, using patterned paper. For the box inserts, I used the Lawn Fawn cloud die cuts in white cardstock.

I then stamped images from the Angels Friends stamp set and a few clouds from the Fly a Kite stamp set. I colored with Copic Sketch markers using E55/57/59 for the angels’ hair, Y11 for the halos and star, R20/22/24 for the banners, and RV10/11, R32/20, BG11/10/000, and BV01/00 for the dresses. Next, I used a white gel pen to make polka dots on the angels’ dresses. 

The images are cut with its coordinating dies. I arranged them to make a beautiful scene by adhering some images directly onto the box and others are glued on to acetate strips for a floating effect.
