Thanks For Being You

Hello friends!

I just came from taking a look at the entries in the current 10 Minute Craft Dash. Oh my, I am loving all the beautiful entries and I’m so happy to read you like the colors featured! They are super fun ones! If you haven’t submitted yet, or have only created one item, you still have four days left to enter!

Today I’m sharing a card I created during the World Cardmaking Day {weekend} crafting session I had. Do you remember how I did a Featured Blogger post earlier this month? These stamps are from Dawn’s company, WPlus9 Design Studio! For this card, I used Very Vintage Greetings.

This color combination is unique for me, but I really like it! It is the essence of Autumn and goes perfectly with all the apple cider I’ve been drinking recently. :)

How have you all been doing? Since I haven’t been doing well health wise, I feel pretty disconnected and haven’t had a chance to hop around blogs as much as usual. If you’ve created something recently, or done a blog post in the last day or two, feel free to post links so I can check them out!

  5. Hi gorgeous! Beautiful card! I love the colors! How do you take pics of your card? Or I guess more specifically, how do you edit them so the card doesn’t have a background?

  6. What a beautiful card! I love the bright happy colors, so sorry you are not feeling well! I hope you are back up to your normal healthy self soon! We all just got over colds here at my house, and it seemed to last forever!!! Anywho, I have been trying to learn new photo tips and tricks for photographing my projects, how do you do yours? Thanks so much!

    1. Lisa, I take pictures normally, then I hand select the project and lay it on a white layer in Photoshop. It can take a little bit of time (and practice), but I’m horrible at staging photos, so this works best for me. :)
