WPlus9 Guest Designer- Day 1
As you can see from the title, I have some news to share…..I’m the guest designer on the WPlus9 blog this month! If you have followed my blog, you know that I’ve been a fan of Dawn’s stamps for a long time. I love the versatility of her line plus, she’s such a sweetie and I love supporting my friends!
Blog friends, let me tell you, this month Dawn has outdone herself. There are TWO brand new sets, and I am absolutely in love with both of them! Today the Wplus9 DT and I have some cards featuring the new set A Special Lady.
Let’s get started on today’s card…..
There are two gorgeous flowers in this set, but I just couldn’t resist pulling out the tulip one first. I’ve always loved tulips, and you know how much I love pink! For the background, I used one of the solid leaf images from Woodgrain Silhouettes Additions (a must have).
Tip: doing a tone-on-tone background is a great way to “fill” in empty spaces, but don’t want it to be too overpowering.

LOVE what you did with all of it Paulina! I always forget about adding detail to the back panel with the versamark image. Gorgeous coloring girl!
