Embellish Fabric Color Challenge


Hey, I’m back with another post!

As I was doing my routine blog browsing I saw that Embellish had a new challenge up. Have I mentioned how much I love them? ;) This time around Ashley challenged us to use some fabric on a card- something I have never done before. I didn’t have any fabric of my own so I dug through some of my mom’s scraps. Shhh…don’t tell her! Since this was my first time using fabric on a card, I didn’t have any genius ideas on how to incorporate it. I added the strip of fabric behind the balloon panel which added some dimension and also reminded me of clouds. :)

  2. Saw your card as a link on the Embellish site and it popped out at me! Really bright and fun colors, and really like how you stamped a pattern on to the solid paper for the balloon.

  10. cute! love the fabric panel! I just did a card the other day with fabric, I used my daughter’s old shirt and cut up the flowers! the thing about fabric is that once you start you keep going!
