Easter Eggs Galore

Hey there!

I hope your week has been going well- just two days until the weekend! My work week has been ridiculously busy….can’t wait until I can relax a bit.
Over at the DeNami blog, we’re doing our first Product Spotlight. This month I chose to showcase the fabulous Easter Eggs since Easter is right around the corner and I was dying to play with these eggs again. ;) Instead of the traditional pastel Easter eggs, I decided to liven things up and go bright. These colors make me so happy! One of my new favorite stamps is the Stitched Border– doesn’t it make a great background?
I know I posted a card similar to this one recently, but I wanted to bring it back again for this post. You all know I’m a huge fan of polka dots so I couldn’t resist adding a few with the baskets. ;) I think it freshens it up and also adds a little more color.
Are you ready for Easter? Do you have any traditions? This year I’m planning on decorating eggs for the very first time- it’s going to be so much fun! Any decorating pros have tips? I have NO clue how to do any of it, so I’ll take any tips you have to share!
Have a great day, friends! Hope you were inspired!

  1. Adorable card! I really like the bright Easter eggs rather than pastels. Have fun decorating real eggs!

  2. i like going bright too–never a pale egg for me! i love getting the first egg into the cup for dyeing… it means you get the first shot at the most vibrant color :D

love both your cards–that first one is so cute with the eggs, and the baskets are adorable!

  3. Love your bright colored Easter cards, Paulina!! So cheerful and fun! I, too, am looking forward to decorating eggs this year! It’s been SO LONG since I’ve done that. I’m hoping my friends’ kiddos can help me out!

  4. Love the bright colors! SO, if you want to go artsy with your eggs, wrap a couple of rubber bands around the eggs and different angles and then dye them. When they dry, take them off and you will have cool line designs on your eggs :)
