Vibrant Ornaments

Happy Wednesday! It’s been three days since I last posted…did you miss me? ;)

Goodness, so much has happened since I last wrote to y’all. I have made lots of new cards (yay!) and have also been working on some fun projects for an upcoming craft fair. Yes, I’m doing my first fair! I got asked to be a part of one via Etsy (lots of opportunities can happen when you have an Etsy store!). She told me about the fair, I asked some questions and now I’m going to be a part of the fun! It sounds like it’s going to be super nice. It’s one block from the new, high-end stores in Bellevue. I’m so stoked, but I’m also really nervous. Hopefully people will like what I have! I’m going to be working on lots of fun little gift items along with my cards and also a few surprises. :) Don’t worry, I’ll post my creations to my blog….want all of you who can’t come to let me know your thoughts!

While we are talking about craft fairs….have you ever done one? I was looking at SCS to see what tends to sell and also get an idea of what to sell my items for. A lot of the cards sell for super cheap, which is making me a little nervous. I can’t justify selling a card that took at least an hour to make for $2.00. When I go to fairs I’m not really looking for a “cheap deal”- I usually look for nice, quality gifts and such. What do you look for? Any suggestions, tips and thoughts are most appreciated!

In closing, just want to let you all know that I’m going to have some fun blog candy soon! Let’s just say that it’s going to be rainin’ Making Memories items for some lucky person. :)

  3. cute, cute, cute…you’ll have to give me the deets on the craft fair so I can go shop!!! I think that in the location that you’ll be in you won’t have any problems selling your sweet stuff…can’t wait to see your projects!!!

  4. good luck with the craft sale. Yes, I agree, don’t sell your cards for a cheap price. You took lots of time and care into making your items.
