Today was a long day. I’m still fighting a cold (and losing), so my day at work felt exceptionally long. Mondays are already hard for me, but add being sick and it’s not a good day. :(

    i like using ribbon and flowers–anything bold. i love flowers because they can stand alone as your only embellishment, or they can be layered with swirls, glitter, buttons, etc. i also love ribbon because you soften up a card when you add some ribbon, whether it’s a bow or pom-poms :)

  2. You are awesome to allow Canadian entries! Thanks so much! :) Some of my fave embellies are the Amy Butler die cuts from K&Co. I use them quite a bit, but my favourite part about them is that I also dissect the packaging and use that in my cards too. Thanks!

  4. My favorite embellishment to use are the journaling sheets from making memories. They come in a set of 20 sheets and they are small enough to fit on a standard card. They make a cute accent with the different borders! Thanks for the opportunity to possibly win free stuff!(too nice!)Hope you get over your cold!

  5. I love RIBBONS! I use ribbons on most of cards if not all. Whenever I think that my card looks dull, ribbon is the only thing that make it look bright and pretty. Put me in a shop full of ribbons….and I can stay there for hours!

    My favorite embellishment to use on my prjects is probably brads because they are easy to use and come in so many different colors, shapes, and sizes and they have a variety of uses from flower centers to accenting stamped images.

  12. Jewels/rhinestones of all shapes, sizes, and colors are my favorite thing to embellish with! They go with any type of sentiment, and just give a card that extra something! Thanks for the chance to win!
