Spring is in the Air

Hey there!

Today I have a bright and cheery card to share with you. Over on Nichole’s blog, she challenged her DT to create some Spring cards. As usual, there was some stunning creations! To add to the fun, she posted the colors that each member used and challenged us to create a card using one of the color schemes. I LOVED the colors that Betsy Veldman used so I chose those as my colors.

For this card I pulled out my beloved Wishing You set along with Signature Greetings and Background Basics:Tin Types. LOVE how it turned out. Such a vibrant card that would cheer up anyone! I decided not to add any ribbon {gasp!} and opted to use some pink rhinestones instead. Have I mentioned how much I love rhinestones? I have at least eight colors and use them all regularly!

In closing, I want to mention that Dawn over at Stamp Away With Me did a sweet feature on me using her Funky Foliage set. I love her line and couldn’t believe my eyes when I read all the things she said about me! Just goes to prove that you never know who reads your blog and looks at your creations. :) For those newbies out there, keep posting to your blog! Who knows, you might get featured!

Thanks for stopping by, friends! I hope you were inspired! I’ll be back tomorrow with a card for a special challenge- you won’t want to miss it!

Stamps: Wishing You, Signature Greetings, Background Basics: Tin Types
Paper: White, New Leaf, Summer Sunrise, Sweet Blush
Ink: Vintage Sepia, Fresh Green, Cherry Pink, Summer Sunrise
Other: pink rhinestones, SU! scallop border punch
