O Happy Day
Hello there!
I hope you’ve been having a great weekend. As usual, I’ve been staying busy. I was finally able to semi-straighten my craft studio. Oh goodness, has it gotten bad. I’m dreading getting the vacuum out and straightening the stamps. Since I’ve been creating so much lately, I’ve been super terrible at putting them back. I need someone to come and clean/ straighten all of them!
It’s been a little while since I pulled out my Papertrey stamps out. I wanted to do something fresh and fun and thought I’d bring out Turning A New Leaf. I just love these leaves! I used my new Big Scallop Square LG dies. It wasn’t too long ago when I didn’t have any Spellbinder dies. Now, I have so many, I forget which ones I have! :)
I must share with the world my news- I’ve finished the BIG CHA display that I have been working on! I honestly wasn’t sure if I could pull it off….10 brand new boards= approximately 150 newly created/ designed cards. Lots of cards didn’t “make the cut” – I wanted to only bring you the very best. I’m excited (and NERVOUS) about them making their debut at the CHA SuperShow. For those who can’t make it to the DeNami Design booth at that show, don’t worry! It’ll be going around to the rest of the shows this year!
Thanks for stopping by and letting me share my good news. Now that I’ve completed this mighty big task, I’ll be able to (hopefully) post more often to my blog and create for publication calls again! Really looking forward to that….
Other: Spellbinders Big Scallop Square LG dies, Hawaiian Shores grosgrain ribbon (PTI), button, twine
Very pretty card! I love how you pulled all of these colors that I would have never thought to use together and made them look like they belong!
Beautiful colors on this, love it!!
This is so pretty! Love the colors!
Lovely card Paulina! I love that set too. Congrats on getting that big project done! I am sure it is a HUGE relief for you! I can’t wait to personally see them at CHA!
Yea. Congrats on putting that project behind you. I just reorganized and cleaned out the furniture that holds all my crafting stuff to. And the vacuum cleaner is sitting right next to the room ready for me to vacuum. HA! Looks like we had the same frame of mind yesterday.
Hi Paulina! At the Tinley Park show, I told Nami how much I liked her blog and your work in particular. I didn’t realize you had your own blog, but I’ve spent a LOT of time here this morning and will be back regularly. I’ll be at the Supershow. Can’t wait to see your new boards! joyce h
Looking forward to seeing the boards in person! DeNami was one of the first stamp companies I discovered way back when. Excited that you guys will be at CHA!
Woo hoo!! I’m so happy for you to have this ginormous project complete :) That has to be a huge weight lifted!! I’m sure your boards will be a huge hit which will make all this effort totally worth it :D
Such a pretty card, Paulina! Turning a New Leaf is in my top five PTI sets, that’s for sure! Love the colors together–lots of them but they’re harmonious, not overwhelming. Congrats on getting that HUGE project done–WOW!
Gosh I just love spellbinders!! I don’t have this set but I think I need it now :) Best of luck at CHA, I’m sure your booth will be packed!!
