Key to My Heart

Friday greetings!
Today I have a new card to share with you all. I recently pulled out the fabulous Key to My Heart set and went to town on creating my own patterned paper. For those new to Practicing Creativity, this was the first set to release and it’s still super popular! (Hence, it’s currently out of stock.) The keys are so unique and the sentiments are adorable! To add a little dimension to the card, I added some of my favorite Bronze rhinestones– you know I love sparkles! :)
Can anyone else believe that Christmas is sneaking up on us quickly? Only 84 days until it’s here! When I think of Christmas, I think of sitting by a fire with hot chocolate and then watching a movie. My favorite Christmas movie is A Charlie Brown Christmas. There’s something about the characters that warms my heart. I wish there were more kids movies like that nowadays…
Well, somewhere in this post was a sneak peek at what’s to come in the Practicing Creativity release. Can you guess what it is? :) You’ll have to join me and the other girls to find out- we’ll start showing our projects tomorrow! In addition to Dana, Karen and Courtney, there will be some special guest designers…. you’re not gonna believe all the eye candy that is coming your way these next few days!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I’ll see you tomorrow bright and early! :)

Paper: White, Fine Linen, Dark Chocolate, Ripe Avocado (PTI)
Ink: Vintage Sepia, Tea Dye Duo (PTI)

  1. LOVE your beautiful card! The rhinestones really make it special! :-)

My guess for one of the new releases is the 12 Days of Christmas!

  2. It’s too early for me to solidify any of the clues for a guess on the release. I simply have NO idea. I’ll be counting down the minutes until tomorrow.

  3. Oh wow Paulina, this card is gorgeous. What a great design!
I too love a Charlie Brown Christmas…I had the storybook and a little record of someone reading the book that you played along with it and I wore that record out as a kid!

  4. You do wonders with stamping your own background, and the rhinestones are a perfect touch. Hope you are having a great start of the weekend.

  5. I love the key background! So elegant and so versatile I think.
I’m thinking the theme is Christmas…but all you ladies picked cartoons…hmmmm..either way I can’t wait!

  6. Well I’m none the wiser with the new release but I adore your card! So sweet to create that DP with those keys!

  7. Gorgeous card! Love how you used this stamp set! I have this set and love it, so thanks for the inspiration. I can’t wait to see the new release!

  8. Pretty card, Paulina! I love the way the ribbon pops against the neutral background! And the little touches of bling on the keys are perfect!

I’m thinking the new release includes images such as stars, litle pine trees, presents, and sleds.

  9. Girl, your background stamping is amazing! Love the bling! My favorite movie is Miracle on 34th Street…such a classic, but I love others like Charlie Brown Christmas!
