Test Post {of sorts}

wishlist_juneI don’t know about you, but I always love seeing what items have caught the eye of my fellow blog and craft friends. Whether it be the latest items from Target {that store always gets me in trouble!}, a new nail polish or some beloved crafty items, I love peeking in and being introduced to items I may not have normally seen.

Thanks to the prodding of a couple friends and my birthday coming up soon, I thought I’d do a “test post”, of sorts. Here’s some items that have been on my wish list and/or have caught my eye recently.

I’d love to hear whether you enjoy these sorts of posts, or would you rather I skip them. Honestly, if you aren’t a fan, that’s totally okay! I’m completely unsure if I want to do this feature, so it’ll be YOUR feedback that helps me make the decision. I promise, there won’t be any hurt feelings one way or the other. *wink*

That’s going to wrap up this short little post. Quick reminder: if you have been wanting to participate in the 10 Minute Craft Dash #19, the deadline is TOMORROW night! There have been so many gorgeous entries so far- I hope you’ll add yours to the list!

  1. I couldn’t make cards without my Fiskars Stamp Press, shadow inks or Crop-a-dile corner rounder! They are must haves!

  2. I am so wrapped up in paper crafts and I do enjoy seeing the items that everyone uses to make their lovely creations although it does get my credit card in trouble sometimes!!!

  3. Oh my gosh Target gets me too and it’s always little stuff, but it adds up fast. It’s a fave of my DIL too!! I always get her Target gifts cards for Christmas and Bdays!! If you get the Fiskars tool please do a video of using it. It’s been on my radar too ;) I hope you have a beautiful day :)

  4. I think it is kind of fun to see what is on other crafter’s wish lists! I have never heard of Shadow inks and stamps until I saw your list today. So … I learned something new too!
I hope that you have a very Happy Birthday and that you get some (or all) of the things on your list. How great to be able to have some ideas for those people who may have no idea what to get!

  5. I like this post, because it inspire me to check out new shops and products. Yesterday I ordered some stamps and dies from Clearly Besotted, after I have read your Birthday Train post ;-)!

  6. Crafty items, no matter what the context make me want to look twice! Great items too!

  7. Target…you walk in to get one thing and leave a hour later with a cart full…love it.

I like seeing new things but would rather see the being used and described because that is now I know if I want them or not. This is a great introduction. I love the videos

  8. I love these kinds of posts… maybe because several of your items are on my wish list, too. :) But there are so many different crafty companies out there, it is always fun to see things that catch other people’s eyes. And I’ve loved the nail polish and other things you’ve posted in the past, too. I’d love to see more.

  9. I’ve been a stamper for many years and I always thought that I didn’t need a stamp press….and then I got one and now I don’t know why I waited so long. I love it! I use it all the time. Especially for those odd shaped stamps that never fit on the acrylic blocks. It’s not an exciting purchase. But you stamp often enough that you NEED it. :)

And I love your posts! :)

  10. I like the idea of sharing things you have foung and are interested in. How about including bargains you find too.

  11. I don’t mind seeing what is on your wishlist. I agree with several other posts as far as seeing several items that are on MY wishlist, too. :D

  12. I love my Fiskars stamp press and shadow inks!!! And I like seeing what other people are admiring right now. I have two other things to add to your list. For my growing shadow ink collection, I use an Ink Pad Organizer from Organize More (www.organizemore.com). And Jennifer McGuire has been using a zig wink of stella clear glitter brush a lot — it is FABULOUS!

  13. I love these kinds of posts. There are 3 things I have never heard about and now I want them…lol

  14. Hi Paulina!

This wish list looks great! The Fiskars stamp press is definitely a must have! I have seen the WPlus9 die cut tags a lot lately and there are also on my wish list now. They look like a very versatile die cut! Go for it!! :)

I really like this kind of posts because this way I see products that I didn’t see before like the Oh Happy Day stamp set from Avery Elle! Thanks for sharing your wish list with us Paulina! :)

  15. I do really enjoy the “wishlist” posts. It is always nice to see what other people are using (or wanting) for their lovely projects. It is especially helpful for newer stampers to learn about new products and companies. Keep these posts coming :)

  16. I really like these kinds of posts. I learn something new from them just as you have learned something new in the posts you see the items you like. It’s nice to see what others like and why they like them. It helps me to see things differently and to learn about a certain tool/product that maybe I may need or want. So I say keep doing these posts!

    Hugs,
    Jo

  17. I like these posts Paulina – it highlights products I might not otherwise have considered and we crafters like nothing more than to be enabled!! I have the corner chomper on my wishlist too but the stamp press is a must have!! I just did a haul video too (I know how much you love seeing those!!) It’s on my blog (glittermesilly.com) I too get excited watching what other people have been buying!
Oh, and I now have ALL the mid-tone shadow inks – I love them all!!!
    Hugs,
    Caryn xxx

  18. I think it’s fun to see what other people like/want. I have a Fiskars stamp press (the smaller one) and LOVE it!
I also got a great nail polish yesterday. It’s OPI and it’s called Glitzerland. It’s gold. :)
