April Ramblings

Since my March Ramblings were a hit, I decided that I would do it every month. Just another warning, this is very random and you may regret wasting time reading this.

  • This month I have created well over 60 cards/ projects. Yes, it is insane and yes, I am almost out of new ideas.
  • Two weeks ago I bought my first Copics and somehow I have already accumulated 30+.
  • Do not have any pants that truly fit me. All of them are too big but I don’t want to spend more money on clothes because I’m hoping to loose more weight.
  • I have hit a weight plateau and don’t like it. Guessing it doesn’t help that I have taken to drinking Diet Coke again.
  • I discovered I may be directionally challenged.
  • The past few months have been amazing in my crafting endeavors. I was featured on the CARDS blog, got a card picked up for the August issue of CARDS and was featured on the WPlus9 website. Hoping I can accomplish even bigger things in the months to come!
  • Taco Time is my favorite “fast food” place. I could eat it everyday, no joke.
  • Got my first speeding ticket this month. Still kicking myself for it.
  • Realized that everyone in my old “group” has gotten engaged or married, except me. Not exactly sure how I feel about this.
  • Seriously have loved answering questions on my formspring account. I still can’t believe that people want to know about lil ‘ol me!

Okay, now I’d love to see YOUR random list. If you post one, be sure to leave me a comment so I can check it out! One of my readers did it last month and it was SO fun to read! I hope more of you do it. *hint hint*

  1. Ok, sooo…

~ Over 60 cards in ONE month!… WOW! That’s more than a card a day! “You Go Girl!”

    ~ And over 30 Copics already?!… I’m so JEALOUS!

~ Congratulations on your accomplishments with your crafting! That’s so awesome & you should be proud!

~ Taco Time??? What is Taco Time?… Haha, We don’t have that in South Florida. :(

Ahh! This was so cute and fun to read! I definitely want to do one soon too! :) I just need to think of some “interesting” things about myself! haha…

  2. Hehe! I love this! I have no idea what Taco Time is but I do loves me some tacos!
I am also directionally challenged. My poor husband is always saying “turn left…your other left!”
Congrats on getting picked up in Cards! Woot Woot and Woo-hoo for that!
    Hugs!!!

  3. Too fun! We don’t have Taco Time here in Omaha, but I love pretty much all Mexican food, so sounds good to me! TFS! :)

  4. Paulina, it seems that Taco Time genes run in your family. Your daddy and uncles and also Uncle Steve went there quite a bit in their younger days and partook in their all-you-can eat festivities from what I understand! haha! I like it, too!

  5. This was so much fun to read!!! I was laughing at the part about being directionally challenged. My husband and I came up with the acronym PLID (parking lot inconclusive directionality) for his inability to pick a parking space in parking lots. He’ll start pulling into one, and then change to a different one…or pull through and cross over to a spot in the next aisle. Sometimes it goes on for quite a while! Hilarious!
And I wouldn’t fret over not being married yet (even if a lot of your friends have entered that phase of life). You’re young! And you’ll meet the perfect match at just the right time!
CONGRATS on all of your crafty accomplishments too, girlie!! Your work is FANTASTIC!

  6. So fun to read your random ramblings! I may need to do that for my blog soon!

Can’t believe you just got your set of Copics and now have 30+! I can’t live without mine!

  7. Yeah…add me to the list of directionally challenge! At least we are in good company. ;o)
